MANYEMEN WOMEN PROTEST AGAINST DRUG SALE AND CONSUMPTION
Drug abuse has destroyed most youths in the community, most of them have become useless and lazy

Africa — Women and young girls in Manyemen Village along the Kumba-Mamfe road on Tuesday July 14 came out on the streets to add their voices to the trending anti drug campaign across communities in the Southwest Region of Cameroon.
On their placards the women demand a stop to drug trade and consumption in Manyemen.
The women say a serious sanction will be levied against anyone caught with hard substance in their community.
They say young people have become useless because of drug consumption, some have resorted to stealing, sexual assault perpetrated against their mothers or even sisters.
At press time, the women also called on authorities to step in an put a lasting end to the drug trade and consumption in Manyemen and Nguti Sub-Division as a whole.
