Tiko, Cameroon — Muslim communities in Tiko and Mutengene have benefited from a humanitarian outreach led by Dr. Divine Mbamome Nkendong.
The outreach, carried out on Friday, August 7, 2026, forms part of a broader humanitarian initiative by Dr. Mbamome following the successful organization of the Champion of Champions Football and Handball Tournaments and the distribution of more than 74 driving licences to bike riders in Tiko Municipality.
Food Items Donated: During the visit to Muslim communities in Mutengene and Tiko, the humanitarian team distributed bags of rice, salt, packs of sugar and kettles to members of the communities. Speaking on behalf of Dr. Divine Mbamome Nkendong, Julius Chembe, President of the Organizing Committee of the Dr. Divine Champion of Champions Jamboree, said the gesture was part of Dr. Mbamome's commitment to giving back to the communities.
According to Chembe, the outreach is also a continuation of Dr. Mbamome's support to Muslim communities in Tiko and Mutengene, whom he has reached out to on previous occasions.
More Communities to Benefit: The humanitarian programme is expected to continue in the coming days, with donations planned for more than seven orphanages and 12 communities across Tiko Subdivision.
The initiative is being presented as part of Dr. Divine Mbamome Nkendong's broader commitment to humanitarian service, community support and social solidarity in Tiko Subdivision.
