Kumba, Meme Division Cameroon. — The Senior Divisional Officer (SDO) for Meme Division Chamberlin Nto'ou Ndong has announced a temporary interruption of traffic for heavy-duty vehicles along a section of National Road No. 16 (Kumba–Ekondo Titi Road)due to ongoing construction works. According to a communiqué signed on 27 July 2026, the restriction affects the stretch of road between PK4 and PK8 and takes effect from July 27, 2026. The measure applies only to heavy-duty trucks, while other categories of road users are not mentioned as being affected. The SDO urged truck drivers and the general public to understand the temporary inconvenience, stressing that the measure is intended to facilitate the execution of construction works on the highway. The communiqué, signed on behalf of the Senior Divisional Officer by Ntou'ou Ndong Chamberlin, Senior Administrative Officer, has been circulated to media houses across Kumba and beyond
