Lady A Foundation Extends Back-to-School Support to Women in Kumba.
The initiative focuses on supporting women and easing the financial burden of back-to-school preparations.

Kumba, Cameroon — Cocoa merchant and philanthropist Agbor Toko Rose, founder of the Lady A Foundation, has extended her annual back-to-school support initiative to women and families in Kumba, providing school supplies and financial assistance ahead of the 2026/2027 academic year.
The outreach, which is aimed at supporting women, less privileged persons and orphans, saw Agbor Toko Rose and her team visit different neighborhoods in Kumba, where they distributed school books and cash to help ease the financial burden of preparing children for the new school year.
On Friday, September 11, 2026, the philanthropist and her team visited the Kumba I Sub-Divisional Council, extending their support to female council workers and women who had visited to the council to access municipal services.
All female workers of the council received books and financial assistance, while other women present also benefited from the gesture.
In a spontaneous display of generosity, passersby, including some men, were not left out, as the philanthropist extended gifts and financial assistance to them.
Speaking during the outreach, Agbor Toko Rose explained that the initiative is her personal way of giving back to society and sharing the blessings she has received through her business.
“This is my own little way of sharing what God has blessed me with through my business," she stated.
She emphasized the importance of supporting families during the back-to-school period, when parents and guardians face increased financial demands to prepare their children for the new academic year.
Continuing a Commitment to Community Support.
The intervention is part of the Lady A Foundation’s ongoing efforts to support vulnerable persons especially in the North west and Southwest regions hit by the cureent sicio-political crises.
Last year, around the same period, Agbor Toko Rose extended a similar back-to-school outreach to the Manyu Division, where she provided assistance to families and children in need.
Her continued interventions reflect a sustained commitment to supporting women, children and less privileged persons through humanitarian and community-focused initiatives.
Lady A Foundation is expected to Visit Orphanages in Kumba on Monday, September 14, 2026, when Agbor Toko Rose and her team will visit selected orphanages in Kumba. The planned donations include school books, uniforms, food supplies and other important items intended to support children in need as they unveil the new academic year.
Through the initiative, the Lady A Foundation is promoting a message of compassion, community solidarity and shared responsibility, encouraging individuals to support vulnerable families within their communities.
