The Association belives that education must be inclusive for all, the donation to children born of parents with disabilities is an annual activity by the Cameroon network of Women with Disabilities

The Cameroon Network of Women with Disabilities Launches Back-to-School Campaign for Children in Kumba, South West Region.

Kumba, CameroonOn September 30, 2026, the Cameroon Network of Women with Disabilities (CNWD) will host a Back-to-School campaign for children born to persons with disabilities.

The event, set to take place at the Women’s Empowerment and Family Center in Kumba will run from 9 a.m. to noon.

The campaign, as disclosed to Pinnacle Times by CNWD’s CEO and founder, Madam Virginie Toko, underscores the organization’s commitment to education as a vehicle for empowerment.

Shey emphasized, “Education is the key to a brighter future.”

The event also invites the public to support this mission. She appeals that people of goodwill should assit the association inorder to facilitate the program.

Dozens of Children are  expected to gather at the women empowerment and family center to receive school items in terms of books, pens, pencils, school bags and rulers.

This is not the first time the association has donated to children.

Virgine Toko herself is a person with disability, despite the challenge, she has for the past years been supporting children of persons with disabilities.

She has also been involved in community initiatives supporting persons with disabilities, particularly in Kumba, and has participated in leadership and social-impact programmes focused on empowering people living with disabilities
