Kumba — The Kumba branch of the Vision Cooperative Credit Union (VICCUL) has been launched.
During the launching ceremony held recently in Kumba, the workers and marketers of the credit union, in a caravan display through various streets in the city, shared education with the public about the financial institution registered in Cameroon and affiliated to the RECCUCAM network.
At the credit union premises in Lido Street Kumba, and under the auspices of the Divisional Officer for Kumba 1 Sub-Division, represented, the Managing Director of the Union, Mr. Ndayam Nde. DIEUDONE, revealed the objectives of the savings and loans facility.
The ceremony, which included a tour of the facility, will serve the Kumba population with products and services such as savings, loans, payment of civil servants’ salaries, payment of salaries for private company workers, njangi financing, term deposits, school fees loans, and more.
The credit union has also embraced smart banking, which will go a long way in facilitating transactions in a more convenient format.
The Kumba branch of the credit union is now open to both business people, farmers, transporters, and salaried workers.
Headquartered in Douala, Vision Cooperative branches are now spreading to other parts of the country.
